Flu Season 2020

SEASONAL INFLUENZA VACCINATION

We are fast approaching the month of September when we will be offering the Seasonal Influenza Vaccination to all our patients that are 65 years and over (including those becoming age 65 by 31 March 2021) and to patients at risk, that fall into one or more of the following:

Chronic Respiratory Disease, Asthma, Chronic Heart Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetics, Chronic Liver Disease, Chronic Neurological Disease, Carers, Pregnant Women or those who have Low Immunity.

We will be contacting patients aged 65 and over first.

Patients under 65 who are eligible for the vaccination will be contacted soon to receive their vaccination in October when we receive the vaccines.

Patients aged 50-64 years will be contacted in November/ December depending on vaccine availability.

Please use your patient access account to book your flu vaccination.

Alternatively you can call the surgery between 10am and 12pm or 3pm and 5pm, press option 5.
