Welcome to Crick Medical Practice
Welcome to Crick Medical Centre, providing primary care for Crick and surrounding areas. We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer. If you are a patient at Northampton General Hospital and have any questions or queries about an outpatient appointment, when your planned operation is expected to take place, or if you want to cancel or rearrange an appointment with the hospital, please contact their Outpatient Contact Centre on 01604 545555. We do not have access to the hospital booking system and will not be able to provide you with the information you need. Thank you for your support
The Dispensary is closed from 2-3pm every day. Please try to avoid these times to collect repeat prescriptions as the dispensers are doing protected work and answering patient phone calls.
IMPORTANT NOTICE The Dispensary telephone line will be open from 2-3pm and 5-6pm. All Telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes only.
Can we please request that all patients requesting repeat medication give at least 3 working days from ordering to collection and 4 working days for home delivery requests. Your co-operation is appreciated.
Covid-19 Vaccination Update 1st September 2021
To date 45,189 vaccinations have been administered at Weedon Surgery. 96% of the over 80s and 95% of those aged 70 to 79 have had both vaccinations.
At present we are offering 2nd doses of the vaccine to patients that had their initial vaccination before 10th July, which now consists of all adults. We are continuing to offer a 1st dose of the vaccine to anyone over the age of 16 that has not yet received one. The offer remains open-ended so if you have previously declined you are still more than welcome to book.
If you are aged 12-15 and fit into the eligible high risk categories or live with someone who is immunosuppressed please get in contact with your practice, who will refer you to get your vaccine at Kings Heath Vaccination Centre where there is a paediatrician on site.
We are making final preparations for the booster programme which we expect will begin later this month, in conjunction with flu vaccinations. However we await Government guidance.
If you would like to book your 1st dose of the vaccine or if you had your 1st dose prior to mid-July and would like your 2nd please give Weedon Surgery a call on 01327 340 212 and press option 4 for the Covid line.
