Welcome to Crick Medical Centre, providing primary care for Crick and surrounding areas. We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer.If you are a patient at Northampton General Hospital and have any questions or queries about an outpatient appointment, when your planned operation is expected to take place, or if you want to cancel or rearrange an appointment with the hospital, please contact their Outpatient Contact Centre on 01604 545555. We do not have access to the hospital booking system and will not be able to provide you with the information you need. Thank you for your support
The Dispensary is closed from 2-3pm every day. Please try to avoid these times to collect repeat prescriptions as the dispensers are doing protected work and answering patient phone calls.
IMPORTANT NOTICE The Dispensary telephone line will be open from 2-3pm and 5-6pm. All Telephone calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes only.
Can we please request that all patients requesting repeat medication give at least 3 working days from ordering to collection and 4 working days for home delivery requests. Your co-operation is appreciated.
Repeat Medication Telephone Line ClosingAs from the 1st September 2021, the practice will no longer be taking repeat medication requests over the telephone. This is to ensure that our process for repeat ordering is robust, safe and reliable. You can continue to request your repeat medications via the following methods:
1. Online – NHS App or Patient Access
2. Tick the items required on your repeat slip and post in the repeat prescription box located by our front door or post to the practice
3. If you use our home delivery service, hand your completed slip to our courier

SUSPICIOUS CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES
To protect yourself and your family members from fraud and criminals please remember the following points:
. The vaccine is only available on the NHS and is free to people in priority groups. The NHS will contact patients when it is their turn. You will not be asked to pay for the vaccine.
· The NHS will never ask you to press a button on your keypad or send a text to confirm you want the vaccine, and never ask for payment or for your bank details.
· The NHS are not making house calls to deliver or discuss the vaccine.
If you receive a call which you believe to be fraudulent, hang up. If you believe you have been the victim of fraud or identity theft you should report this directly to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040. Where the victim is vulnerable, and particularly if you are worried that someone has or might come to your house, report it to the Police online or by calling 101.

IF THE SURGERY IS CLOSED AND YOU NEED MEDICATION URGENTLY PLEASE CONTACT NHS 111 OR A COMMUNITY PHARMACY.
Please be advised that there are currently no waiting room facilities at Crick Medical Practice or West Haddon Surgery. Should you need to attend for a face to face appointment please dress appropriately for the weather. On arrival please check in at the window and then wait in your car when possible and we will come out and find you. Training Time for Doctors and Staff
Please be aware that the surgery will be closing on one Wednesday afternoon of each month for Staff Training. Times: 12:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
During this time if you need to see a doctor urgently, you can call 111. This opportunity will enable us to keep up to date with the latest topics and enhance staff knowledge.
